I’ve included both general prompts and ship prompts per fandom in addition to some general likes, feel free to take from either one if you’ve got an idea, I’m delighted to see what you come up with.

Arthurian Mythology:
Specifically I enjoy Chretien de Troyes & Marie de France's takes on Arthuriana, and I liked T.H White and Disney's Sword in the Stone as a kid. Mary Stewart's series is also good. Fillers are welcome to pick whatever other stories they'd like to draw from (whether it’s just medieval texts or newer adaptations), but I would ask that gifts and fills stay away from Mists of Avalon/MZB inspired interpretations & BBC Merlin.
Relationship Prompts
Gawain/Dame Ragnelle (Arthurian)
- I feel like this relationship has a lot of petty bickering, between two people who are both headstrong and strong willed—feel free to write about the circumstances that this might cause within the Arthurian court.
- I’d love to see what happens immediately after the wedding, when Ragnelle comes out in the morning, transformed.
- There’s a version of The Wife of Bath’s Tale/The Marriage of Sir Gawain by Lisa Theriot that I really enjoy on Spotify if you’re looking for a good source to draw from.

Gawain/Lancelot du Lac (Arthurian)
- I’m really digging the idea of a very fucked up AU take on the mythos where somehow Gawain becomes King of Camelot. And how that suddenly fucks up both Gawain’s life, and his relationships—of course, with a focus on how his…situation with Lancelot changes (up to you whether they were already in some form of relationship, or this spurs them into getting together—whatever take you’re interested in exploring).
- Another prompt would be Gawain experiencing the tragedy of Lancelot being in love with his aunt-by-marraige (and his uncle if you’d like). Lots of unrequited pining potential here, feel free to resolve it or leave it unresolved, I’m happy either way.

Kay & Arthur Pendragon (Arthurian)
- The inherent tragedy of watching your younger sibling struggle with the demands of rulership. Also Kay is so loveable and yet utterly incompetent, he feels like the only normal guy out of Arthur’s knights— which isn’t always a good thing.

Other Prompts
- Festival/tourney shenanigans! Whatever season, just bring the air of cheer and joviality! (Or the drama that's going on just behind the scenes, that's good too!)
- Totally platonic questing (where there is definitely no sexual tension whatsoever ;) )
- First Meetings; the evolution of character’s relationships over time— how does a characters first vs last impression of another change?
- Domestic camelot scenes... or domestic questing scenes if the characters are on the road (linked to the prompt above I guess)
- Whatever strange adventures you can imagine that might fit into the era—I love the tension between the pagan & Christian, the changing cultural makeup of Britain at the time, and how the conflicts the knights get into can reflect that tumultuous landscape.
- I do love sibling loyalty and bonds! Sure would be terrible for those bonds to be tested and emotional hurt-comfort to come out of that!
- Love Gawain. Would love terrible things to happen to him— feel free to go nuts.

Gawain/Lancelot du Lac (Arthurian)
- Lancelot winds up coming with Gawain to the Green Knight’s home; or Lancelot waits for Gawain’s return
- Gawain kisses Bertilak, and wishes it was a different man

Labyrinth:
I love this movie so much! I enjoy the unspecified fantasy (wrt mythology and worldbuilding) vibes of it, and the inexplicable dreamy-ness of it. It’s mysterious, and I love that vibe a lot. I’ve been thinking about the integrations between the worldbuilding and fantasy thematics that were drawn on lately, and how to measure the separation between the—vagueness? I guess? — of the specific inspirations, and the clear lineage of folklore that’s drawn on. I’d love to see some atypical faery worldbuilding in this fandom, with an emphasis on the wild, ugly, and horrifying rather than just ethereal beauty.
Relationship Prompts
Jareth/Sarah Williams (Labyrinth)
- I’ve been thinking about Loreena Mckennit’s Lady of Shallot a lot recently in conjunction with these two. There’s something about Tennyson’s descriptions of Elaine that are eerily fitting for Jareth, and Mckennit’s addition of Lancelot’s unknowing cruelty that resonates for a particular interpretation of Sarah.
- I love the idea of Jareth, on a certain level, being the Labyrinth, and all of the pain and difficulties that could arise from that. And don’t be afraid to have a story based on this prompt end in tragedy.
- Perhaps Sarah becoming Queen of the Labyrinth changed her—but it changed him too, and now he’s coming to terms with certain mortal weaknesses that he didn’t have before (or hasn’t had in a long time, whatever you’d like to think based on your interpretation of his origins).
- I love the idea of Jareth trying really hard to comfort Sarah; but doing an absolutely terrible job for the sole reason that it has either been so long since he was human, or he was never human in the first place, and thus is very uncertain what to do.


Dredge:
I love the vibes of this game so much—particularly the loneliness experienced by the player while on the boat. I’d love to see how the relationships formed by the characters either do or do not manage to shake that loneliness up. There’s a lot of potential to see how the setting itself contorts and distorts the relationships, just like the fish.

Psychonauts:
Fandom DNWs: explicit fic for this fandom.

I just love Raz a lot. He’s my favorite little guy, and has been since I first played the game (I think I was like. Eight or so.) I love getting to see him do cool stuff and achieve his dreams, helping people along the way.

Razputin "Raz" Aquato & Sasha Nein (Psychonauts)
- The interns + Raz get assigned to Whispering Rock as summer-camp counselors. This was probably a bad idea, given that Raz is the same age as most of the campers.
Razputin "Raz" Aquato/Lili Zanotto (Psychonauts)
- They’re so cute! And there’s not nearly enough fic about them either, whether it’s just chilling or going on missions or training together.
- My first playthrough of both games, I desperately wished that Lili would come with you into a mental world at least once, so maybe Raz and Lili teaming up to set someone’s mental world to rights.
- There’s a bunch of old psychonauts fic that involves Raz performing for Lili for the first time and I still find that trope absolutely adorable.
